Manufacturing TechnicianManufacturing Technicians set up, run and maintain manufacturing equipment and assembly processes. Ensuring that all equipment is working efficiently, monitoring production processes, and making adjustments or troubleshoot as needed. Manufacturing technicians produce products for the consumer market. They assemble components by hand, add finishing touches to components, and perform quality checks on machine-produced parts.Essential Job Functions:Assembles products and parts to meet production targetsFollows production guidelines and specificationsOperates and maintains machinery and production line equipmentMonitors the production line and removes faulty productsParticipates in ongoing on-the-job training to adhere to company policiesPerforming assigned product manufacturing and assembly tasksConducting quality checks on the functionality of parts and componentsAdding finishing touches to the appearance of componentsPerforming minor repairs and reporting breakdowns in a timely mannerKeeping equipment maintenance logsCollaborating with other departments to complete production orders on timeComplying with internal policies and industry regulationsFollow instructions and/or direction given by supervisors to complete assigned work projectsEnsure work area is clean and safeThis is not a complete list. Requirements; additional duties may be assigned as needed.Requirements:Ability to proactively troubleshoot problemsFabricating experience preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced, changing environmentAbility to work in a team settingWork as a team within department and with other departments and LeadsAbility to work scheduled hours and comply with the company policiesRequired Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products. Must be able to stand, sit and bend for long periods of time.Work Environment: Manufacturing environment: loud noise levels, high temperatures, dirt and sand. Required PPE: steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, dust masks, and/or respirators.
