Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist
Provides technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory during invasive cardiovascular procedures. Provides patient care under the supervision of the RN. Assists physicians in radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures, acts as scrub assistant, maintaining sterile conditions during clinical procedures. Operates imaging equipment and works in the control room monitoring and documenting procedure images and events. Educates patients and families regarding procedures.
