With the millions-strong Squishable fan community cheering us on (and a lot of cupcakes, coffee, and karaoke) we make people say "a" Our offices are in a sunny SoHo loft in NYC and in downtown Washington, DC.What Does a Squishable Store Manager Do?The Store Manager oversees the daily operations of the store and is accountable for its sales performance, its team, and its standards. Responsibilities include:Leading, motivating, and developing the store team, including hiring, onboarding, and ongoing trainingSetting and executing business strategies for the store in partnership with the Regional ManagerOpening and closing the store (at times on your own) and taking responsibility for accurate day-start and day-end cash handlingEnsuring accurate inventory levels and punctual restocking of merchandise on the floorMaintaining a high standard of merchandise presentationMaintaining enthusiasm and motivation in the store, and ensuring a fun and memorable environmentSupporting all types of POS transactions and customer inquiriesAdhering to all company policies, practices, and safety standardsQualifications2–3 years of retail management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, challenging, and creative customer-facing environment2–5 years of customer service experiencePassion for people! A dynamic and engaged leader with a passion for empowering, inspiring, motivating, teaching, and developing team membersExceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and highly entrepreneurial environmentFeedback is a gift!
