About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiac Cath Lab – Florida

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: South Florida

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 or 40 guaranteed hours per week; on-call required approximately 9 shifts per 5-week period; floating within scope as needed to meet facility needs

Highlights:

• Join a 230-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital with EPIC charting system
• Cath Lab experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations
• Experience in electrophysiology (EP) and vascular procedures preferred
• Orientation includes EKG and pharmacology testing; study materials provided
• Free parking available on-site in unrestricted spaces
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate; pending licenses considered

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required; 2 years preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of application
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Active RN license or pending license in good standing
• Skills required: diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required – smoke-free facility with zero-nicotine policy
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Two professional references from direct supervisors or nursing leadership
• Completion of time-sensitive modules prior to start date (non-billable, approximately 6-15 hours)
