What You'll Do:

• Load & Unload: Manually lift, position, and secure raw steel struts (10-20 feet long, weighing approx. 10-20 lbs each) onto racks, hooks, or conveyor lines.
• Precision Prep: Ensure parts are perfectly spaced and oriented for optimal chemical plating and anti-corrosion coating coverage.
• Quality Check: Read and interpret production sheets, tags, and work orders to verify parts match the designated run and meet ABB's rigorous standards.

Responsibilities

The Strut Plater Loader/Unloader is responsible for the manual and mechanical loading and unloading of metal strut channels, components, and hardware onto the automated electroplating/galvanizing production line. This role is crucial to maintaining a steady, efficient workflow while ensuring the finished products meet the client's rigorous quality and anti-corrosion coating standards.

Production Associates will perform the following tasks:

Manually lift, position, and secure raw metal steel struts and components onto racks, hooks, or conveyor lines prior to entering the plating tanks. Steel struts are 10-20 foot in length and weigh approximately 10-20 lbs each.

Ensure parts are properly spaced and oriented according to work instructions to achieve optimal chemical plating coverage.

Read and interpret production sheets, tags, and work orders to verify parts match the designated run.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 25lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
