Property Accountant

Responsibilities of this direct hire Property Accountant include: Conduct daily reviews of General Ledger accounts. Perform daily reconciliations of disbursement accounts. Monitor balances daily and prepare transfers to reconcile these balances. Record all cash transactions. Prepare draw requests and maintain related tracking and reconciliation schedules, including Work-In-Progress (WIP) analysis. Compile financial review packages and other financial reports. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 2+ years of accounting experience. Property Management industry is a plus. Proficient with MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups). Experience with Yardi software is preferred but not required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail, ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic work environment, and able to work independently in a deadline driven environment.
