Requirements

• Operating Room (OR) experience required
• OR Circulator experience required
• Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care utilizing the nursing process
• Perform patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Serve as the circulating nurse during surgical procedures
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient response
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
• Educate patients and families regarding surgical care
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Delegate tasks appropriately and manage clinical situations independently

Ideal Candidate

• Recent OR Circulator experience
• Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced operating room environment
