PHYSICIAN - Gastroenterology - Duluth, MN

Position Overview

Our Gastroenterology section is seeking BE/BC Gastroenterologists as part of a planned expansion at a 357‑bed tertiary referral center opened in July 2023 with an outpatient endoscopy unit, 8 endoscopy suites, a motility lab, and inpatient endoscopy rooms. 11 advanced practice providers support outpatient visits and inpatient GI consults, including weekends.

Location

Duluth, MN (150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul); regional service area of 490,000.

Compensation

Guaranteed base salary with incentive for production; not an RVU based model. Base or share of pool: $715,000 plus potential bonuses, quality incentives, or production‑based compensation.

Qualifications

• Board‑certified (BC) or board‑eligible (BE) in Gastroenterology required.
• Experience with ERCP and EUS not required; subspecialty interests (IBD, liver disease, esophageal diseases, etc.) accommodated.
• Minimum 1:8 call schedule desired.
• Ability to work in physician‑led, integrated healthcare delivery system.
