We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team in a regional healthcare facility serving the Southern United States. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care through comprehensive clinical assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough clinical assessments using sound clinical judgment to identify and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate nursing care plans, adjusting as necessary to meet evolving clinical outcomes.
• Foster a supportive and therapeutic environment that respects patient diversity, including cultural, spiritual, and socioeconomic factors.
• Advocate for patient rights, confidentiality, and dignity while addressing ethical and clinical concerns.
• Facilitate patient and family education to promote informed decision-making and health promotion.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members and community resources to coordinate integrated care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice changes to enhance nursing care.
• Maintain professional development through continuing education, networking, and involvement in nursing organizations.

Education

Registered Nurse licensure is required. Completion of an accredited nursing program is essential.

Experience

Previous experience in emergency nursing or acute care settings is preferred to ensure readiness for the fast-paced environment.
