Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing compassionate and skilled physical therapy services to K-12 students. Working across a diverse caseload ensures a dynamic practice environment where you’ll help students reach their fullest potential. This role starts as soon as possible and continues through the end of May 2027, offering long-term professional satisfaction. With a schedule of three days per week, you’ll enjoy flexibility while making a meaningful difference in students’ lives.
Qualifications:
- Current Maryland Physical Therapist license required
- Previous school-based physical therapy experience preferred
- Comfort working with a K-12 population with a variety of needs
- Strong communication and collaborative skills for partnering with educators, administrators, and families
- Dedicated to fostering positive outcomes for students with varying physical abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services for a diverse K-12 caseload in school environments
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement IEP-related interventions
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student engagement and progress
- Support students in achieving greater independence, participation, and success in their educational setting
