Mechanical Repair Technician

About the Job

We are looking for a Mechanical Repair Technician to join our team in Auburn, CA. This is a great opportunity for someone with some hands-on mechanical experience who enjoys working with tools, fixing equipment, and learning new repair skills.

The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical knowledge and some experience working with small components, tools, or equipment. Some basic electrical knowledge is also helpful.

Responsibilities

Assist with repairing and maintaining aircraft instruments and mechanical components.
Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues.
Use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals.
Inspect parts and components for damage or wear.
Complete basic repair records and work orders.
Follow safety procedures and repair guidelines.
Work with other technicians and team members to complete repairs.
Perform basic quality checks after repairs are completed.
Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Some hands-on experience with mechanical repair, maintenance, assembly, or equipment.
Basic knowledge of mechanical components and hand tools.
Basic electrical knowledge is a plus.
Comfortable learning how to use diagnostic tools and equipment.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Reliable and willing to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

Full-time
Monday–Friday 7am to 3:30pm
