ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join a dynamic audit team focused on enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening internal controls, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. This role plays a key part in evaluating financial and operational processes across a broad portfolio of businesses, providing insights that drive better decision‑making and risk management. The Senior Internal Auditor will gain exposure to diverse environments, build relationships across the organization, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

In this position, you will execute full‑cycle audits, assess internal controls, perform SOX and risk‑based testing, and deliver clear, well‑supported audit documentation. You will collaborate with senior leaders, participate in methodology enhancements, and support initiatives that improve audit quality and technology adoption. This role offers a strong development path, with opportunities to advance within internal audit or transition into finance, operations, or M&A roles across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute financial, operational, and SOX audits from planning through reporting, ensuring adherence to professional standards

• Evaluate internal controls, identify process gaps, and document findings using established audit techniques

• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and underlying issues

• Develop audit programs that address identified risks and adjust procedures as needed during fieldwork

• Communicate progress, observations, and recommendations to senior team members and business stakeholders

• Provide practical, value‑added solutions to strengthen risk management and internal processes

• Build strong working relationships with operating companies and leadership teams across the organization

• Participate in initiatives that enhance audit methodology, technology, and team development

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 3 or more years of experience in public accounting or industry audit roles, with experience leading full‑cycle audits

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA, CIA, ACCA, or active progress toward certification required

• Strong experience in manufacturing and inventory auditing

• Knowledge of SOX compliance, internal controls, substantive testing, and corporate governance

• Ability to analyze financial data, evaluate trends, and apply sound judgment to identify root causes

• Familiarity with audit software and data analytics tools; exposure to Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python is a plus

• Understanding of SAP or similar ERP systems preferred

• Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences

• Detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities

• Willingness to travel approximately 25 percent annually, including local site visits and periodic global meetings
