Provides high-quality nursing care in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive clinical support and patient education. Responsibilities:
- Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting findings in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients on their health conditions, medications, and post-visit care instructions.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
- Possess a valid New York State RN License with primary source verification.
- Hold an Associates Degree (ASN, ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program.
- Demonstrate at least two years of Med/Surg or outpatient clinic experience.
- Be certified in AHA BLS; ACLS certification required for Queens location.
- Exhibit proficient skills in IV insertion and phlebotomy.
- Show strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills.
