Sales Manager, Food Colors, Flavors, Ingredients

Our client is a growing and responsible supplier of value-added functional ingredients sold to manufacturers of Food and Beverage products - baking & snacks, dairy, and sports nutrition are the key end use markets. We are looking to hire a Sales professional who has experience calling on companies that use items like Natural Colors, Flavors, Plant-Based Proteins, Whey Protein, Fiber, and related clean-label food ingredients. This is a remote sales position. Work from home and also travel to visit with customers one-on-one, attend trade shows, and attend sales meetings.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow accounts within the specialty ingredient sector.
Build relationships with food, beverage and nutrition brands to understand their needs.
Promote and sell our portfolio of specialty ingredients.
Work closely with technical and R&D teams to provide solutions tailored to customers.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
Consistently meet or exceed sales goals

Requirements

3+ years of experience in ingredient sales or related B2B sales role.
Strong knowledge of the food, beverage or nutrition ingredient market.
Proven ability to develop business and deliver on targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and customers.
