Description A Registered Nurse Practitioner engaged to work on an as‑needed basis for patient care delivery. Responsibilities Provides clinical patient care to all assigned patients on an as‑needed basis. Maintains BCLS/ACLS Certification and fulfills annual program requirements; renewal is facilitated by Nursing Education classes. Possesses the required competence in the area of assignment within the guidelines of the position description. Completes the necessary orientation program as coordinated by Nursing Education prior to engagement and complies with all institutional regulations as would a full‑time employee. Maintains telephone accessibility for assignment control and notifies the unit or care center office of any changes in contact information. Submits a letter of resignation at least two weeks ahead of the effective date. Qualifications Relevant clinical nursing experience. Compensation The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $80 - $80 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
