This is a great opportunity for an experienced healthcare billing professional who is looking for a full-time, in-office position.Why You'll Love This Opportunity:Immediate opening with a local medical clinicFull-time, in-office positionCompetitive pay of $15–$16 per hour, depending on experienceWhat You'll Be Doing:As an important member of the clinic's team, you'll be responsible for ensuring medical claims and billing processes are handled accurately and efficiently.• Prepare and submit accurate medical claims using billing software• Ensure claims are submitted in compliance with healthcare regulations and insurance requirements• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits• Investigate and appeal denied claims• Monitor and maintain aged accounts receivable to help keep outstanding balances to a minimum• Assist with collecting outstanding payments• Maintain detailed, accurate, and organized medical billing records• Ensure billing information aligns with medical documentation• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and insurance companiesRequired Qualifications:Previous in-office medical billing experience with a clinic or hospital is REQUIREDExperience using medical billing softwareExperience working with EMR/EHR systemsProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of medical terminology and medical records managementStrong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailAbility to process claims accurately and efficientlyExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companiesPlease Note: This is an in-office position. Applicants must have previous in-office medical billing experience with a clinic or hospital.
