Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 20-bed Med-Surg Unit serving both adult and pediatric patients. The ideal candidate must be comfortable caring for both populations and have strong Med-Surg experience with excellent patient ratios.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements
-Provide nursing care to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients.
-3+ years of Med-Surg experience required.
-1+ year of pediatric experience required.
-Must be comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric patients.
-BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
-12-hour night shifts; must be flexible for other shifts, weekends, and holidays.
-Patient ratio: typically 4:1, maximum 5:1 for non-COVID patients; 2:1, maximum 3:1 for COVID patients.
-May assist with flu immunization clinics as needed.
-Travelers may occasionally float to other qualified departments.
-Travelers are expected to attend staff meetings.
-Orientation is held on Mondays only.
