Computer Vision Engineer - Applied AI / Production ML (Hybrid)

Overview We’re partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed AI company building computer vision systems deployed directly into real-world, operational environments. This is a high-impact engineering role, not a research position. You’ll be working on applied computer vision problems where performance, robustness, and real-world usability matter, not just model accuracy on paper. What you’ll be doing Building and deploying computer vision models into production environment Working on practical challenges such as model performance and optimization Iterating on models, experimenting, validating approaches, and improving performance Writing clean, production-ready code as part of a broader platform Collaborating closely with end users to understand real-world problems and translate them into working solutions Your background 2+ years’ experience in applied computer vision / machine learning Strong Python skills with libraries such as PyTorch / TensorFlow / OpenCV Hands-on experience with model deployment, ideally into production or near-production environments Someone who experiments, iterates, and improves models rather than simply implementing a single approach Strong experience working on real-world datasets and messy environments Startup or small-team experience with high ownership Exposure to model optimization and performance tuning What this is not Not a research-heavy role Not focused on robotics, 3D vision, or purely academic work Not suited for candidates who prefer theory over building Why this role stands out Your work is deployed into real operational environments, not left only in notebooks High ownership, small team, meaningful impact from day one Strong backing and clear growth trajectory Equity and competitive compensation #J-18808-Ljbffr
