Registered Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities: • Examine patients’ dental health and get an overview of their oral health history • Take x-ray images of the patients’ teeth to help dentists identify any oral health issues like cavities • Document patient visits and keep health records current • Remove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay • Make impressions of patients’ teeth to ensure their mouthguards, dentures, etc. are made correctly Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings to ensure patients leave with a bright, healthy smile and apply Fluoride and/or Sealants when neededPerform initial patient screenings and gather detailed dental health historiesCollaborate with dentists during examinations and procedures to provide seamless patient careEducate patients on oral hygiene best practices to empower them in maintaining their dental healthMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient records to ensure continuity of careMonitor and restock dental supplies to keep our practice running smoothly and efficientlyUtilize cutting-edge technology, including Biolase Epic Hygiene Laser for pocket therapy and bacterial reduction, as well as Itero for scanning and maintaining patients' dental health Qualifications: • Able to stand up for long periods of time to administer dental exams and procedures • Licensed to practice as a dental hygienist in the state • In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations • Must have at least an associate’s degree in dental hygiene; bachelor’s degree preferred • At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene Compensation: $125,000 yearly

Compensation:
$125,000 per year
