Switcher Manual Labor Edison, NJ, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1170 Salary Range: $26.00 To $28.00 Hourly We're looking for a safety-focused and reliable Switch Truck Driver/ Forklift Operator to join our team! This is a dual role mostly operating a forklift, with some yard jockey duties. You'll keep our warehouse and yard running smoothly by safely moving trailers, loading/unloading products, and supporting daily operations. What You'll Do: Move and park loaded or empty trailers to and from loading docks Load and unload trailers using a forklift Operate a palletizer and handle pallets from production lines Track inventory using a scanning system Perform safety checks and follow all company and DOT rules Keep tractors, docks, and trailers clean and organized Lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a non-climate-controlled environment What We're Looking For: Class A CDL preferred (must have at least 1 year tractor-trailer experience) 1 year of forklift operation (food manufacturing experience a plus) Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills (photo eyes, proxies, controls, etc.) Able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English Clean driving record (3 years MVR with 2 or fewer moving violations/accidents) Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to safety Pay & Schedule: Hourly Rate: $26- $28 per hour (based on experience) Shift: 2nd shift- must be flexible to start earlier or work mid-shift as needed Why You'll Love It Here: Competitive pay and benefits Career growth in logistics and operations A team-focused, safety-first culture Be part of a company that values your skills and drive!
