Job Opportunity – Emergency Medicine Physician – Georgia

Start Date: July 2024 (ongoing need)

Location: Southeast Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Shift-based coverage with multiple options available (6a-5p, 11a-10p, 7p-6a). Typically 2-4 EM providers on at the same time. One day orientation followed by 1-2 shadow days for hands-on EMR training.

Highlights:

20 ED bays, 12 fast track bays, and 3 high security rooms
Patient volume of 1.8-2.0 patients per hour with 12-16% admission rate
Fast track area with nurse/APP triage coverage from 8am-6pm
EMR: Expanse
Join a collaborative team at the only nationally accredited hospital in the region
State-of-the-art facility with all private rooms and comprehensive specialty services

Requirements:

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
2-3 years of emergency medicine experience
Eligible for or holding an unrestricted Georgia medical license
Clean medical license history (no revocations, restrictions, or suspensions in any jurisdiction)
Current or willing to obtain unrestricted DEA registration
Current case logs required for credentialing
