Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Description

Job Summary:
Perform portable ultrasound examinations in various healthcare settings, including nursing homes, prisons, and home care facilities. Ensure accurate imaging and efficient service delivery while maintaining safety, compliance, and professional standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain portable sonographic equipment to obtain clinically diagnostic images.
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers and confirm examination orders before proceeding.
• Travel to assigned locations, unload equipment, and set up for each exam efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with facility staff, patients, and dispatch to coordinate case details.
• Ensure all documentation, including exam paperwork and billing, is scanned and submitted daily.
• Uphold safety and infection control protocols, including annual trainings and exams.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ARDMS or CCI registration in vascular or general ultrasound.
• Graduate from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program.
• Maintain valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Complete physical exams, TB screening, and infection control training annually.
• Possess basic computer and smartphone skills for communication and documentation.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a professional appearance.
