Registered Nurse - PICU

Pediatric Critical Care Nurse

Provide specialized pediatric critical care nursing in a float pool setting, delivering high-quality patient care across multiple pediatric units. This role involves working night shifts, with a flexible schedule and the ability to float as needed to meet facility demands.

Responsibilities

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in CVPICU, NICU, and PICU units.
• Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs, responses to treatments, and provide necessary interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient conditions, treatments, and progress.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and clinical regulations.
• Float to all pediatric units as needed within scope to support staffing requirements.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Possess at least 2 years of pediatric ICU experience.
• Certified in BLS and PALS (AHA accepted).
• Demonstrate experience with ECMO and CRRT preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
• Open to first-time travelers with requisite pediatric ICU experience.
