Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with a strong technical background in ServiceNow , a solid understanding of financial systems within the public sector , and experience managing offshore project teams . This role will focus on delivering complex IT projects that enhance service delivery and financial operations for public sector clients in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management for IT initiatives involving ServiceNow implementations, integrations, and enhancements.
• Manage financial systems projects aligned with Ontario public sector policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and offshore delivery centers.
• Oversee and coordinate the work of offshore development and support teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Monitor project risks and issues; implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership and public sector clients through status reports, dashboards, and executive briefings.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with Ontario government standards, procurement rules, and data privacy regulations.

Must Haves:

• 5+ years' project management experience in IT, preferably in the public sector

• 5+ year's proven experience with ServiceNow implementation or enhancement projects

• Knowledge of public sector financial systems, budgeting, and reporting processes in Ontario or other Canadian jurisdictions

• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid)

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of project management experience in IT, preferably in the public sector .
• Proven experience with ServiceNow implementation or enhancement projects.
• Knowledge of public sector financial systems , budgeting, and reporting processes in Ontario or other Canadian jurisdictions.
• Strong track record of successfully managing offshore development teams .
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).

• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution skill

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP or PRINCE2 Certification.
• ITIL certification, particularly with focus on ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, CSM).
• Experience working with Ontario government ministries, agencies, or Crown corporations.
• Knowledge of public procurement processes and vendor management.
