What sets us apart from other units is the teamwork with all of us having the same goal: provide safe, quality, and compassionate care close to home!A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:Performs plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.Documents patient care provided in a timely and accurate manner.Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs).Assesses learning needs and delivers age-/culture-appropriate patient and family education.Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.Participates in unit and organizational performance improvement and required continuing education.We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
