Candidates should have excellent attention to detail, be efficient at working on multiple files at once, and have the desire to grow with TitleSmart. Salary based on experience.Position hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.Daily tasks include (but not limited to):Open files through SoftPro SelectUpdate SoftPro with changes and new informationCreate preliminary E-CRV’s for closingSchedule closingsSend out closing appointment notificationsDraft Closing Protection Letters (CPL’s)Draft Preliminary Closing DisclosuresSend out title commitments to lenders, borrowers, agents, and real estate closersCall on utility billing and fill out the water and utility billing worksheetsAccurately and quickly cut checks and disburse files for closingsPerform escrow accounting for returned checksPre-type documents for closing on buyer and seller filesPerform basic title clearance, order payoffs, ensure current dues, etcPackage out closed filesDouble check assessment searches and verify taxesComplete 1099 reportingDisburse refinance closing filesHandle returned checks through our escrow accounting application in AIM+Prepare closing documents for buyers and sellers with exceptional attention to detailUnderstand how to read the title commitmentProvide assistance to closing professionals in post-closing as necessaryParticipate in continuing education and progress in duties in order to be promoted into more advanced tasks and rolesDesired Skills & Requirements:1+ year of title experience is requiredExperience SoftPro Select strongly preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyProficient computer, software, and typing skillsExcellent grammar and spellingHigh degree of professionalismSocially intelligent and driven to succeedPhysical Requirements:Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hearOccasionally required to stoop, kneel, and crouchOccasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus, and peripheral visionTitleSmart has a sharp focus on one goal - creating a "wow" customer experience.
