The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System (VALLHCS) is on the lookout for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist dedicated to serving our Veterans—America's heroes! Our healthcare teams are highly skilled and focused on the needs of Veterans, their families, and caregivers. This facility is affiliated with Loma Linda University Health Medical School, making the education of medical students, residents, and fellows a vital aspect of this role. • Conduct assessments, consultations, and prepare patients for anesthesia, including pre-operative evaluations.

• Administer anesthesia to ensure pain relief during surgical, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures, along with managing affected patients.

• Monitor and restore homeostasis during the perioperative phase, as well as in critically ill or injured patients.

• Diagnose and provide intraoperative treatment for pain syndromes.

• Oversee clinical management and instruction in cardiac and pulmonary resuscitation.

• Evaluate respiratory function and implement respiratory therapies in various forms.

• Supervise, teach, and assess the performance of both medical and paramedical staff in anesthesia practices.

• Engage in administrative duties within hospitals, medical schools, and outpatient facilities to fulfill these responsibilities.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives if desired.

The salary range for this position is between $350,000 and $380,000 annually.

Work hours may include weekdays or weekends, with flexibility in scheduling.

Candidates should be ABA Board Certified or Board Eligible.
