Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)Autumn View Health Care Facility is looking to add a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to its rehabilitation team. In this role, you'll work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions that help residents improve function, maintain independence, and achieve their highest level of performance. Join us and become part of a team dedicated to making a meaningful difference every day.Responsibilities:Implement occupational therapy treatment programs under the supervision of an Occupational TherapistAssist with resident assessments and contribute to treatment planning within the COTA scope of practiceProvide therapeutic interventions focused on improving functional abilities, ADLs, mobility, strength, and independenceMonitor resident progress and communicate findings to the supervising Occupational TherapistComplete documentation, care plans, billing, and clinical records accurately and timelyEducate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques, adaptive equipment, and home exercise programsTrain and support rehabilitation aides as assignedParticipate in interdisciplinary meetings, discharge planning, and quality improvement initiativesEnsure residents receive prescribed therapy services and treatment minutesPerform additional duties as assignedRequirements:Associate of Applied Science Degree from an Occupational Therapy Assistant program approved by the American Occupational Therapy AssociationValid New York State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License requiredNewly licensed COTAs welcome to applySkilled nursing facility experience preferredStrong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with residents, families, therapists, and interdisciplinary team membersCommitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered careBenefits:Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-TimeWeekly or Same-Day Pay OptionsHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramRetirement Saving Options
