Cardiology Physician

We are currently seeking 1 3 board-certified or board-eligible Cardiologists to provide locum tenens coverage at our facility while we recruit permanent providers. This opportunity offers a flexible rotating schedule and a well-supported clinical environment in a Level II Trauma Center.

Schedule: Ongoing locum coverage; providers scheduled Monday 8:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM (7-day blocks)
Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient

Assignment Details:

Duration: Ongoing until permanent hires are in place

Preferred Commitment: 7-day blocks (Clinic + Call), ending with weekend call

Call Schedule:

Weekends are 24-hour call

Call is mostly phone-based very rare in-person call-ins

Weekday call based on facility staffing needs

Clinic & Hospital-based Work: Assigned based on greatest need during the week

Support Staff: Yes

Patient Volume: 9 12 patients per shift

Trauma Level: II

Beds in Department: 29

EMR: Epic

Providers Requested: 3 locum cardiologists for shared coverage of 3 weeks/month
