Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $2,450 a week in all, a taxable rate of $29.57 an hour plus $1,267 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Radiographer, Xray Technologist. The position performs diagnostic radiologic examinations, assists with radiologic procedures, prepares examinations for interpretation, and supports radiation safety and supply maintenance. The role also includes patient positioning, contrast administration under physician direction, equipment operation, quality control, and collaboration with patients and healthcare professionals.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an approved school; registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT); current Ohio licensure; annual CPR certification and When Seconds Count certification; strong communication, organization, critical-thinking, and independent decision-making skills; working knowledge of computer programs.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous staff radiographer experience.
• Schedule: Day shift; 8-hour shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing and documenting diagnostic radiographic examinations upon approved healthcare provider orders; analyzing examinations for quality control; preparing completed examinations for interpretation; operating radiographic equipment and computer systems; administering oral and intravenous contrast media under physician direction and established protocol; safely transporting, moving, and positioning patients; assisting physicians with radiography procedures; completing appropriate handoff and continuity-of-care communication; and participating in quality assurance activities.
