Bank Teller Location: Glendale, AZ 85305 Pay Rate: Starting at $21.42/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-6:00 PM | Saturday, 8:30 AM-2:30 PM Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Bank Teller to join a financial services branch in Glendale, AZ. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, handling financial transactions, and helping individuals find products and services that meet their needs. The successful candidate will be personable, confident, adaptable, and comfortable providing excellent service in a customer-facing environment. Responsibilities Provide friendly and professional service to members and prospective members. Assist with checking, savings, certificates, IRAs, trust and estate accounts, lending products, and credit/debit card services. Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Respond to customer questions and help identify appropriate financial products and services. Perform data entry, account maintenance, and general administrative tasks. Build positive customer relationships through proactive and personalised service. Work collaboratively with team members to deliver a positive branch experience. Remain professional and solution-oriented when handling challenging situations or customer concerns. Qualifications 2+ years of customer service and cash-handling experience preferred. Previous banking, financial services, retail, or similar customer-facing experience is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable speaking with customers and recommending available products or services. Confident, positive, energetic, and willing to learn. Strong attention to detail and administrative skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Team-oriented with a strong customer-service mindset. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and data-entry systems is preferred. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Glendale, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.42 - $21.42/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
