Senior CNC Machinist: Lead Setup Tooling & Training

Building upon level three, level four machinists demonstrate the ability to set up, run and troubleshoot all specific CNC and conventional machines and machining processes. They also demonstrate the ability to design and manufacture complex tooling, provide leadership and mentorship, and possess at least 6 years of experience. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Operate and set up CNC or conventional mills and lathes Inspect produced components per blueprint using standard inspection techniques Load/unload parts in provided work holding method per setup Replace broken cutting tools/inserts as needed Complete work order documentation in accordance with AS9100 quality standards Load and check CNC program Establish work and tooling offset information Train other employees on operation and set up of CNC machines Oversee operations of multiple CNC or conventional mills and lathes Perform light maintenance duties on equipment Required Skills Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Computer Skills Knowledge of Windows Office Suite and proficiency in CNC machining methods. Physical Requirements Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds Often work near heavy machinery or equipment Demands of a manufacturing environment Required Experience Minimum of 6 years in aerospace/automotive machining or a related industry, with strong knowledge of Fanuc, Haas, CELOS controllers. Preferred certifications in CNC operations and background knowledge of AS9100 quality systems. Level of Education High school diploma or GED equivalent required. For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $34.00 to $40.00 US Dollar (USD) hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter.
