Job Summary

Schedule: Per Diem A per diem RN must be able to work- 16 shifts every 6 months, 4 need to be weekend shifts. One summer and one winter holiday requirement. In the ED, you will provide immediate acute care to our patients. You will triage, assess, treat and document care. We have 29 beds in our ED. Xrays, CTs, and ultrasounds are available 24 hours a day and MRIs most of the day. We are also a Primary Stroke Center.

Qualifications

• BSN required
• Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required
• Must obtain ACLS prior to end of orientation and may not practice independently without ACLS
• PALS preferred
• ED experience is strongly preferred
• 2 years' telemetry experience preferred
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients
• Ability to demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities
• Ability to adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards
