Technicians ensure gas, electric, and communication systems are maintained and provide high‑quality utility marking to protect these vital facilities. They use the advanced LaunchPoint software system for efficient service. Starting wages range from $25.50 to $32.00 depending on experience. Roles & Responsibilities Work independently outdoors with the company‑provided vehicle as your mobile office, completing a route of locate requests each day. Accurately, safely, and efficiently locate and mark underground utilities using marking paint, flags, and sometimes whiskers. Use your mobile work system to receive daily tasks. Qualifications Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug, motor vehicle record, and background check. This is a Safety‑Sensitive DOT position that must comply with all Federal Department of Transportation regulations. Marijuana (medical or recreational) is prohibited. High School Diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age. Valid driver’s license. Must possess a valid passport or an enhanced driver’s license to facilitate occasional travel across the Canadian border for work‑related assignments.
