Financial AnalystProgressive Global Energy is a world-leading staffing company committed to connecting the right talent with the right opportunity in the diversified energy industry.We support our clients and candidates' needs by delivering safe and compliant manpower services quickly and effectively.Main Accountabilities:Perform necessary activities for the month end close of the Accounting Center, including preparation of various journal entries, preparation of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and calculation and recording of monthly entries as necessaryPerform analysis of accounts and generate entries as necessaryApply Accounting and Reporting Guidelines, Group Accounting standards, and local GAAP compliance and compliance with Group CharterComply with and help to achieve strong Internal Control over Financial Reporting and General AccountingCommit to improve processes a culture of learningMeet commitments and deliver high quality services to business partnersCommit to and deliver professional ownership of service levelsCommit to customer focus and customer satisfaction to ensure business partners are provided the service levels agreedIdentify best practices and communicate them to managementParticipate in special projects as necessary to support the General Accounting and Reporting departmentsContribute to team spirit and ownership of processesContribute to development and training of junior staffSupport and participate in safety, compliance, business ethics, Group Charter, communications and other related activitiesBasic Qualifications:3 plus years of experience in accountingBachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field (equivalent work experience may be considered)Intermediate or Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsDemonstrated customer focus with the ability to build effective working relationships with all stakeholdersSAP, or similar ERP knowledgeStrong English written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of reporting structure including reporting units, business units, product groups, trading partners, and partner profit centerPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in shared service industry preferredAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
