Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic team. This position involves providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the emergency department.
- Triage patients effectively to ensure priority cases are addressed timely.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Monitor and manage patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments as per protocols.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Prepare and conduct assessments for all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Shift Information
This position requires flexibility, as shifts will include days, evenings, and nights. Holiday coverage is also required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency department setting.
- Current nursing license in Hawaii.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification is preferred.
Location
This position is based in a facility located in Hawaii.
