We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team on a seasonal or part-time basis. This position requires hands-on experience preparing complex individual and corporate tax returns.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex individual tax returns
- Prepare corporate and partnership tax returns, including Forms 1120, 1120-S, and 1065
- Review financial documents and identify missing or inconsistent information
- Communicate with clients regarding tax questions and required documentation
- Research tax issues and apply current federal and state tax laws
- Meet filing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
Requirements
- Prior professional tax preparation experience is required
- Experience with both complex individual and business tax returns
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication and client-service skills
CPA or Enrolled Agent credentials are preferred but not required.
This is a seasonal or part-time position with the potential for continued work based on performance and business needs.
