About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to design and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with a range of conditions, including cardiac, orthopedic, renal, and pulmonary issues. You will conduct evaluations, set goals, and assist with therapies, including exercises, stretches, and modalities. Physical Therapist Assistant will also ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to identify rehabilitation needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with licensed Physical Therapists
• Assist with therapies, including exercises, stretches, and modalities
• Provide education and instruction to patients and families on rehabilitation techniques and self-care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting or related field preferred
• Current PTA certification in the state of New Jersey
• Minimum 0 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
