Worship Pastor

Magnolia Bible Church is searching for a dynamic and experienced leader to step into a thriving and growing church. MBC has more than doubled in size over the past 3 years and is poised to continue to grow. The Worship Pastor will oversee and work alongside the video director, creative director, and sound engineer, coaching musicians, worship leaders, and volunteers to grow in their gifting. Qualified applicants will need a track record of leading and growing a worship ministry (3‑5 years experience required). Applicants should be prepared to supply videos of leading live worship in a corporate worship setting. Job Description Highlights Lead, equip, and care for the worship teams (tech, band, singers) to effectively minister to the congregation. Pastor/Shepherd the worship ministry volunteers. Personally lead and participate in worship services. Pick worship music that intentionally edifies a diverse congregation. Strive consistently for excellence, spiritual growth, development of skills, and improvement in your team. Facilitate and defend a 'worship culture' that promotes healthy and biblically functioning team. Lead the teams that are responsible for set design, atmosphere, and environment for weekly services and special events. Develop and advance DAW recording capabilities. Facilitate/shape recording opportunities for the creative writers on the worship team. Expand the worship team by recruiting, encouraging, and training up new team members in all areas. Ensure excellence in well trained technical teams (screens, lights, audio, graphics, etc). Bring appropriate creativity and fresh approaches to the worship experiences to continue to lead the congregation by avoiding ruts and predictability. #J-18808-Ljbffr Magnolia Bible Church)
