Responsibilities Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs. Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions. Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient. Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record. Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. Perform timely and accurate quality improvement (QI) assessments. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current state RN license and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within six months of hire. One year of experience preferred. American Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons (ASLS) certification preferred.
