Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative for a primary care territory in Washington state. The role involves building clinical knowledge of Amgen products, engaging medical professionals, managing accounts, and driving sales targets through relationship development and strategic execution.
Responsibilities
- Communicate clinical product benefits and drive appropriate utilization among medical professionals
- Develop and execute territory sales strategy through in-person and virtual engagement
- Build and maintain customer relationships, manage accounts, and resolve reimbursement issues
- Analyze territory performance, provide marketing feedback, and develop collaborative account plans
- Conduct medical educational programs and achieve or exceed sales targets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree plus 4+ years sales experience
- High school diploma/GED plus 6+ years sales experience
- Preferred: pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry experience
- Preferred: sales or clinical background in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, or related specialties
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within territory
- Senior role requires 3+ years additional sales/clinical healthcare experience
