To be a lead teacher, the qualifications include: 1 year of childcare experience 45 Hour Infant/Toddler Certification, 45 Hour Growth and Development Certification, Americans with Disabilities (ADA), Basic Health and Safety, Breastfeeding, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome training (SIDS), CPR/First Aid certification, Medication Administration training, 9-hour communication training, Allergy Training, and Sexual Abuse training. Compensation: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
