Summary

Motion Media (M2), the film and video production division of Jackson Dawson, is seeking an experienced Multimedia Specialist to plan, produce, and deliver high-quality photo and video content for our internal brand and for a portfolio of automotive OEM and enterprise clients. As a member of the Motion Media team, this role contributes to projects from concept through final deliverable — including pre-production planning, on-set capture, editing, and post-production — while collaborating with producers, creative directors, account leads, and clients to bring their vision to life.

The ideal candidate is a versatile storyteller and hands-on production professional who is equally comfortable behind the camera, in the edit suite, and in a client-facing conversation. They bring strong technical fluency across the Adobe Creative Suite, disciplined project management, and the judgment to elevate creative work while keeping shoots and timelines on track.

Responsibilities

• Edit, color grade, and finish photo and video content for broadcast, digital, social, web, training, and internal communications channels, by partnering with producers, creative directors, account leads, and client stakeholders.
• Record, edit, mix, and master audio for video, podcasts, voiceovers, and event content.
• Design and create motion graphics, title sequences, and basic visual effects to enhance video deliverables; support graphic and photo retouching needs as required.
• Ensure all deliverables meet brand, quality, technical spec, and licensing/release requirements before final handoff.
• Own day-to-day production workflow across concurrent projects — timelines, deliverables, reviews, approvals, asset delivery, archive and library — ensuring on-time, on-budget execution.
• Collaborate on pre-production - as needed - for photo and video projects, including creative briefs, shot lists, and equipment prep.
• Operate as a camera operator for studio, on-location, and event-based shoots. Direct talent and crew as needed to achieve the creative vision.
• Continuously evaluate and improve production workflows, equipment, and post-production pipelines; maintain organized media libraries, backups, and version control.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in multimedia production, video production, photography, or a related creative role — agency, in-house corporate, or broadcast environment preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated portfolio and reel showcasing end-to-end photo and video work across a range of formats (broadcast, digital, social, event, training).
• Deep, hands-on proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite — Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
• Strong working knowledge of current AI creative solutions such as Eleven Labs audio, Runway and Adobe Firefly visual tools.
• Strong working knowledge of pre-production, production, and post-production processes, including lighting, audio capture, color, and finishing.
• Proficiency with professional camera systems, lenses, lighting kits, and audio equipment.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
• Client-ready communication and presentation skills; comfortable interfacing directly with internal stakeholders and client contacts.
• A collaborative, accountable, and solutions-oriented mindset, with the professionalism to represent Motion Media on set and in front of clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience producing content for automotive OEMs or other enterprise/agency clients.
• Experience with Blackmagic cameras and studio production systems.
• Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve for color grading and/or finishing.
• Familiarity with drone/aerial capture (FAA Part 107 certification a plus).
• Experience with live event capture, multi-camera productions, or in-studio broadcast environments.
• Basic 3D, animation, or advanced motion design capabilities.

Work Environment

This role includes a mix of studio, on-location, and post-production work. Occasional travel and non-standard hours will be required to support shoots, client events, and delivery deadlines. This is a hybrid position with 2-3 days in the office per week – and as needed.
