Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and community-driven Resident Services, Engagement, and Marketing Specialist to oversee resident services, digital reputation, and operational compliance across our portfolio. This role is the heartbeat of our communities—responsible for enriching the lives of our residents through impactful programming, maintaining a stellar online presence, and providing critical operational support and training to our on-site teams. The ideal candidate is part community organizer, part digital marketer, and part operational coach. Key Responsibilities 1. Community Impact & Resident Services Program Management: Act as the Resident Services Manager, curating a vibrant calendar of events and initiatives across all of our affordable housing properties. Strategic Partnerships: Audit and connect with local organizations to bring free or low-cost services to residents (e.g., after-school programs, tutoring, summer camps). Signature Events: Organize company-wide "milestone" events and annual giveback initiatives, such as back-to-school backpack drives, holiday events, etc. Corporate community events and charitable giving: Execute EPG corporate level service events in partnership with identified nonprofit groups in our communities to create and foster our corporate charitable identify. Community Safety & Engagement: Launch and oversee community programs including the Gold Star/Blue Star Programs and localized Crime Watch/Community Watch meetings. Communications: Own the creation and distribution of the monthly community newsletter to keep residents engaged and informed. 2. Digital Reputation & Social Media Management Social Media Oversight: Manage, curate, and control social media channels (Facebook, Instagram) for each individual property to drive engagement and organic marketing. Review Management: Actively monitor and respond to Google reviews across the portfolio. Reputation Coaching: Train on-site teams and provide them with marketing collateral to successfully solicit positive Google reviews. Quality Assurance: Investigate negative reviews to uncover root causes, working with teams to implement preventative solutions for the future. 3. Operational Performance & AI Support (EliseAI) System Oversight: Monitor the performance metrics of our AI leasing assistant (Elise) to ensure numbers are accurate and all guest cards/leads are being successfully resolved. Targeted Training: Identify operational weak spots on-site and host mandatory retraining sessions for underperforming staff to maximize the platform's efficiency. 4. Market Intelligence & Compliance Insights & Surveys: Design and execute routine resident surveys, market surveys, and mystery shops to ensure our properties remain competitive and resident satisfaction remains high. Annual Tax Compliance: Own the compilation and submission of the annual CHDO (Community Housing Development Organization) tax exemption package for 5–6 properties. Qualifications & Skills Experience: 3+ years in property management and related fields. Experience with affordable housing is a major plus. Tech Savvy: Familiarity with property management software and AI tools (specifically Elise or similar CRM/AI assistants). Strong command of social media platforms and reputation management tools. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—equally comfortable writing a resident newsletter, responding to a critical online review, or training a team. Possesses the confidence to deliver feedback in respectful but direct way to coach teams to achieve desired outcomes. Project Management: A self-starter who can multi-task, manage logistics for events across multiple locations, and meet strict annual compliance deadlines.
