Your mission

• Keep plant assets reliable by installing, maintaining, and repairing production and facility equipment
• Respond decisively to breakdowns and unplanned equipment issues during production
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance during planned downtime
• Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic domains
• Read/interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, schematics, and work orders
• Repair or replace components, test performance, and fine-tune settings
• Support installs, startups, and shutdowns in compliance with Prysmian and OSHA practices
• Maintain precise records of work completed and machine histories
• Pitch in with additional tasks to keep operations safe and efficient

What you bring

• High school diploma or GED
• English reading and writing ability
• Preferred hands-on background with:
  • Conveyors
  • Motors and power trains
  • Bearings
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Comfort around high-voltage systems and heat-intensive environments
• Ability to work overhead, in tight quarters, and beneath machinery
• Strength to lift, push, or pull heavy parts and components with or without assistance

Physical expectations

• Repetitive movements and frequent walking
• Kneeling, crouching, and stooping
• Hands-on tool and equipment use
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. with bending, twisting, and standing

Compensation, benefits, and details

• Starting pay: $30–$40 per hour

• Schedule: 12-hour day (7am–7pm) and night (7pm–7am) shifts available
