CNC Maintenance & Repair Technician

Upper Fairfield County, CT | Direct Hire | 1st Shift | Competitive Pay

Know CNC machines inside and out-and like being the person who can fix just about anything? We want to talk to you.

We're hiring an experienced CNC Maintenance & Facilities Technician for a precision aerospace manufacturer in Shelton, CT.
We're looking for the person who gets called when a machine goes down, equipment isn't working properly, or something within the facility needs attention.

What You'll Be Doing

Troubleshoot & repair CNC machine tools
Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic issues
Maintain CNC mills, lathes and machining centers
Support facility maintenance, repairs and improvement projects
Troubleshoot building equipment and systems
Coordinate with outside service vendors when needed
Assist with machine installations and plant equipment upgrades

What We're Looking For

3+ years of CNC repair, machine-tool maintenance or field service experience
Strong hands-on mechanical troubleshooting ability
HAAS, Mazak and/or FANUC experience strongly preferred
Working knowledge of electrical systems
Someone comfortable going from repairing a CNC machine to tackling a facility issue
Aerospace or precision manufacturing experience is a plus
Building/Facilities experience is a plus
