Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to laboring and postpartum patients in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and maternal vital signs, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetric procedures as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in an onsite hospital setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a facility with Level III NICU services
• Familiarity with high-acuity obstetric cases and emergency obstetric interventions
• Previous travel nursing experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
