Outside Sales Representative

Its regional scale gives the sales team strong operational and product support while preserving the accessibility and stability of a privately held business. The Opportunity This Outside Sales Representative will inherit a successful book of business focused on high-end remodeling and custom new construction while continuing to develop new accounts along the Connecticut Gold Coast. As part of a planned succession, you will work alongside a tenured OSR to learn the territory, meet key customers, and progressively assume ownership of established relationships. This creates an opportunity to step into a strong existing foundation while building a book of business of your own. You will serve as the quarterback of each account, coordinating technical product specialists and operational resources from the initial customer conversation through project completion. The position reports to the Vice President of Sales and provides account autonomy within a collaborative environment. A flat leadership structure will give you direct access to senior decision-makers and the support needed to succeed in the field. Paid relocation to Connecticut and 1st-year guaranteed compensation. The company is open to two candidate profiles: Experienced LBM Outside Sales You have owned an LBM territory and successfully sold to high-end custom builders, remodelers, or professional contractors. You bring strong construction and product knowledge and understand how to grow and protect long-term customer relationships. Sales and Business Development from a Tangential Industry You have owned a territory within an adjacent trade or construction-related industry. You bring proven business-development skills, working construction knowledge, and the ability to quickly develop technical product expertise.
