Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Active credentials as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Current and valid state licensure as required for practice
• Proficiency in respiratory procedures, including ventilator management and airway care
• Familiarity with arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient respiratory care plans
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications such as ACLS preferred
• Prior experience in hospital or acute care settings highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care to patients in accordance with physician orders
• Monitor, record, and report changes in patients' respiratory status and adjust care plans accordingly
• Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and other advanced respiratory treatments
• Perform and interpret lung function tests and arterial blood gases
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and respiratory equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with relevant infection control standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes

$1,627 - $1,843/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 32 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
