Medical Disability Examiner
DFI Health
DFI Health has partnered with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to recruit experienced Psychiatrists and Clinical Psychologists for remote and in-person employment. If hired, providers will conduct disability compensation evaluations by offering their expert medical opinions regarding service-connected conditions. This position requires no treatment, medication management, or ongoing patient care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive disability compensation evaluations Document clinical findings Provide accurate, evidence-based medical opinions Qualifications MD or DO Degree Licensed Psychologist (LP) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) Active, unrestricted medical license Board Eligible or Board Certified Compensation Flexible, self-managed schedule (week and weekend shifts available) Compensation begins at $300 per hour for in-person evaluations with additional incentive pay available for providers who complete a minimum of 25 cases per month.
